Born on November 9, 1966 in Arnhem (Netherlands). I arrived at the age of 18 years in Reims (France), to improve my French and to work as an au-pair girl. Born February 21, 1963 in Reims in the Marne. I spent my childhood in Reims with my parents up to the High School for Civil Engineering. Much of my youth will be devoted to tennis and music conservatory. Thanks to a buddy student part of my tennis team, I met Marcelle.
Who am I ? An alien ? No, though my dream is to meet one, one day ... Contrary to Marcelle, who is full of life and who communicates very quickly, I am rather quiet and prefer to explore my surroundings before I start opening myself. It is difficult to discover me quickly. My bubble is strong enough, not easy to enter into me and to know me, I'm sometimes waiting for an outward sign of interest to free myself and to confide me.
My activities are all style of piano music, dance (rock'n roll and “5 rhythms”), computer science (my work), sleep (especially during the weekend) and model building. I love the sun and the sea, sailboats, windsurfing.
I have a defect that sometimes make people smile: I have no memory, often in "the moon" and my little head makes me forget ... for example my luggage in the train, birthdays (mine included), appointments, ... I must note everything … diaries are an extraordinary invention ... I'm also a little stunned, for example I go to my job with two different shoes (the same color though!) Yes ! Yes ! I did it!
We married in 1988 in the month of May which is now "few years" ago … and more, on Friday the 13th! Friday the 13th ... and yes ... and our misfortune ? We look thoroughly but we do not really see why we should complain.
We are unable to have children, after some trials during a decade, neither natural nor artificial, neither adoption. Good! That's it! There are so many children around us, they love us both and we both love them too !!!!!
Our very special life between Paris and Epernay will surprise many of you. During the week, the moments that we are alone, we do what we like personally, and when we are together during the weekend, enjoy these moments at its true value, alone or with friends.
We love to be surrounded by friends and partying. We often invite them home and they will do the same by return ... Of very different characters, each day is source of wealth, of research and trying to advance in the understanding of our world and us in particular. Not so easy, but who said that married life was simple?
